| Biography: |
Florian Schweiger studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Technische Universität München, at École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne in Brest (now: TELECOM Bretagne) and at Télécom Paris (now: TELECOM ParisTech). He received the degrees "Diplom-Ingenieur" and "Ingénieur Diplômé" in 2007.
In 2007 he joined the Institute for Media Technology at Technische Universität München now working as a member of the research and teaching staff. His current reseach interests include feature point detection in images, as well as 3D reconstruction, camera pose estimation and video synchronization in mobile multi-camera environments.
